We highly recommend booking your table with us in advance. Due to Covid-19, we are running at a reduced capacity in order to keep you, and us, safe during these unprecedented times.
Your reservation may not be honoured when arriving late or early for a reservation, you will never be asked or hurried to vacate your table but we do ask that you arrive on time, this helps us provide all our guests with an enjoyable dining experience.

We’ve completely re-decorated, moved our dining tables to ensure they area minimum of 1m apart and put in processes & procedures to keep you, and us, safe in these unprecedented times.
We’ve put in all of the necessary steps to keep you, and us, as safe as possible during this pandemic. Upon arrival, please ensure you sanitise your hands and scan the QR code with the NHS Track & Trace app.
As our car park is currently being used for the marquee, we request that you park on the road but please avoid parking on the pavement as this is illegal. You may also use the Jubilee Centre car park which is a 2 min walk down the road on the right as you head towards Liskeard. Parking is at owners risk.
Keeping Us All Safe
We have revamped our restaurant and have taken all reasonable steps to maintain a safe environment and a 1m social distance. Floor markings will be used for queue management systems and there will be clear signage asking people to observe the 1m social distance.
Our team has been briefed and trained in our new, enhanced cleaning procedures and the responsibility they have to their colleagues and our guests. Areas of high contact will be deep cleaned every two hours and hand sanitiser stations will be available throughout the restaurant. We request you use them upon arrival and at regular intervals with us. Our staff will be sanitising every time they enter and leave their place of work.
Personal protective equipment is provided for necessary tasks and in use accordance with government guidelines.
Track & Trace
We will be complying with the Government regulations for Track & Trace, which means we will request your contact details when you dine or drink with us or you can use the NHS Track & Trace app. These details will be held securely for 14 days and then safely destroyed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you cater for dogs?
We welcome well behaved dogs at The Plough we ask that dogs are kept on a lead at all times. So as not to cause discomfort to other guests, please advise us when reserving your table so we can arrange a suitable table, providing a dog free dining area for our other guests.
Can I bring a birthday cake?
If you would like to bring a birthday cake from home, a £20 cover charge will apply.
We courtesy check your meals & at this time if you chose not to mention any issues you may have & eat 50% of your meal, you will be charged in full.
Parties of 6 or more?
For parties of 6 or more, we require a £10pp non-refundable deposit (not applicable for forced Covid closures).
